Polin & Polin has named its wines in honour of our family’s pioneers who were of the first to 
immigrate to Australia and establish commerce in regional New South Wales.
Production of Polin & Polin wines commenced in 2000, with the first vintage of “Limb of Addy” Shiraz from our 15 acre vineyard near Denman in the Upper Hunter Valley. We went on to purchase further plantings in Pokolbin in 2004 to produce a contrasting style of Shiraz, a Chardonnay and a Rose.
There is something special about tasting wine from whence it came, from the first budburst to the final fermentation, a cycle of life is celebrated with every glass sipped, every bottle uncorked.
Awards & Reviews
The Limb of Addy Shiraz has been successful at a number of wine shows. The 2002 recieved a bronze at both the Rutherglen and Cowra Wine Shows, and the 2001 and 2002 were awarded silver at the Hunter Valley Wine Show.
We are also pleased to have received some great reviews, as including 90 points in Halliday’s 2008 wine companion for our 2003 Limb of Addy Shiraz, and 5 stars in Winestate’s Annual Review for our 2004 Tudor Chardonnay.
